WHAT IS A NATUROPATH?
A naturopath is a caring and considerate soul who endeavours to help others through their health journey and the challenges which can arise. We focus on individuality and everything that impacts your overall health, gaining insight into your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. With each of these facets having a complex interconnection, we discern and appreciate the unique person before us. This holistic view provides in depth care and understanding.
HOW CAN A NATUROPATH HELP ME?
With a strong emphasis on assisting with the root cause of your symptoms and not the symptoms themselves, we focus on taking a detailed case. This will include all aspects of your life including lifestyle, diet, physical and mental factors.
We utilise functional testing and referrals to fellow health care professionals where appropriate. Advise can include diet and lifestyle modifications, herbal and nutritional supplements. By implementing these various forms of therapy and naturopathic principles, you can achieve optimum health.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
Try to arrive 5 minutes early and ensure the initial intake questionnaire, I have sent by email previously, is returned. This will allow me to be best prepared for your case and require me to spend more time getting down to the nitty gritty. Please bring any testings or information associated with your current conditions.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
Your first session can often be daunting and this is understandable. However, I am here to assist you to improve your health and wellbeing. Many clients feel worried about what they may want or need to share. I have talked about many topics which some feel can be embarrassing or shameful. So its best to try and come with an open mind and be as honest as possible.My goal is to assist and walk alongside you. You are the one who does the work and makes the changes, I am only a facilitator.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
This is an ambiguous question as many factors contribute. The severity of your condition and your ability to commit to the proposed prescription are the main elements which increase the amount of sessions needed. I aim to provide as much education as I can to help empower and further guide your lifestyle and dietary choices. I will try my best to give an outline for the journey we will take. However, this can be fruitless, fickle and is in no way a guarantee. I have found clients achieve the best results when they prioritise their energy upon the goals and aspects of their health they can improve.
I NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE. WHAT IS THE CANCELATION POLICY?
Cancellations require 24 hours notice. When less than 24 hours notice is given, a full fee is charged according to the consult booked. I understand when this can not be helped so I do apply this policy with discretion.
